Future Fashion Icons

Future Fashion Icons

Chloe Moretz and Emma Roberts attended the Metropolitan Opera's premiere of Jules Massent's 'Manon', in New York last night wearing Yves Saint Laurent. Emma opted for a black jumpsuit accessorised with a metallic red flower belt and clutch, while Chloe showed off her pale complexion in a ruffled navy dress. They both chose to wear matching YSL platform pumps, we're having a hard time deciding which look is our favourite!

Chloe Moretz and Emma Roberts are part of a new guard of young red-carpet style icons. We're always on the lookout for new style inspiration, so check out the rundown of our favourite up-and-coming fashionistas; Sami Gayle, Elle Fanning and Dionne Bromfield are just some of the names we've tipped for future fashion greatness.

Dree Hemingway and Emmy Rossum

Dree Hemingway and Emmy Rossum
The Metropolitan Opera Premiere of Jules Massent’s Manon drew in fashion’s elite from January Jones to Emma Roberts all looking gorgeous clad in YSL. However, amongst a sea of black it was Emmy Rossum and Dree Hemingway who stole the show for us.

Dree looked uber cool in an all white tuxedo with pink clutch and crucifix necklace, a very definite nod to YSL’s tux that Bianca Jagger made famous back in the seventies. We love! Then there was Emmy Rossum’s jewel-tone purple silk sheath split to the thigh and accessorized with a sleek up-do and embellished choker necklace. Nice work ladies, you have our seal of approval! RSTake a look at Emma Roberts and Chloe Moretz's YSL looks from the night!

Jennifer Lawrence Wows In A Victoria Beckham Frock

Jennifer Lawrence is our new style crush, it's official! Her red-carpet run to promote her new film The Hunger Games has seen her in a gold floor-sweeper, a red cut-out mini, and now this Victoria Victoria Beckham number as she attended the movie's Madrid premiere.

We love how Jennifer mixes up her style and keeps us guessing as to what she’ll pull out of her amazing wardrobe next. Effortless and cool, it’s a thumbsup from us, Jen! RS

Life Of Beckham

Life Of Beckham

SHE may be part of one of the world's most famous families, but Victoria Beckham is still impressed by other high-profile broods. The designer took her children to visit Justin Bieber's studio for son Cruz's birthday and the teen star sweetly sent the boys signed guitars afterwards - one of which was incorrectly addressed to Pax, the name of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's son.The mother of four says that, on the whole, family life in the Beckham household is like any other - with the children often sleeping in their parents' bedroom.
"They cuddle up like little peas in a pod," she said, "but only on a non-school night."
"Or when Mummy's had a glass of wine," added David.
Despite her busy home life, the designer also recently attracted a new fan in another famous mum - Beyoncé, who wore one of her spring/summer 2012 dresses to a Michelle Obama fundraiser this week.
"I was very excited when I saw it online - I screamed and said, 'David, look!' Beyoncé is absolutely beautiful and has the most phenomenal body," Beckham told US television show Extra. "I'm a huge Beyoncé fan, so it was big for me."As successful as she now is, Beckham said that her label's new looser silhouette reflects a change in own mindset.
"At first, I wanted clothes that people would associate with me," she explained. "I was probably a little bit more self-conscious then - I was afraid to wear things that weren't super-super-tight. In those days, I wore a lot of corsetry. That was a sign of my own insecurities. By season three or four, I started doing a lot more research about things that I didn't like. And I started challenging myself. Now that I feel more confident, creatively I feel more satisfied. It doesn't have to be tight. I love working with volume and draping away from the body."
Another time Beckham felt insecure about her body was at the royal wedding in April last year, when she was pregnant with her daughter, Harper.
"First, obviously, we were very, very excited," she recalled, before adding, "What do you wear to the biggest wedding ever - when you're enormously pregnant?"The designer was last year given the British Fashion Awards' 2011 Best Designer Brand accolade, presented to her by Marc Jacobs. Beckham looked visibly moved during her acceptance speech, thanking her family for all their help.
"When they read my name, I literally felt like my heart was going to jump out of my body," she said, explaining that the honour meant more to her than her numerous Spice Girl musical achievements. "I'm so appreciative of my past. I respect all the girls and really enjoyed what I did then, but this is what I love to do. I didn't plan on getting up in front of the whole British fashion industry and not keeping my cool, but I was overwhelmed; I cried three times."

Lulu Kennedy - Fashion East founder, and the London fashion world's unofficial fairy godmother, credited with kick-starting the careers of designers from Holly Fulton and Henry Holland, to Roksanda Ilincic and Gareth Pugh - collected her MBE at the Palace yesterday wearing, as you might expect, a stylishly eclectic mix of labels. The Fashion East alumni were represented in her look via a jacket by Roksanda Ilincic and a skirt and top by Michael van der Ham, whilst some of fashion's biggest names were represented in a bag by Chanel and a hairband by Dolce & Gabbana. Her covetable blue shoes were Christian Louboutin for Michael van der Ham.Following the ceremony, Kennedy celebrated with a Madhatter's Tea Party at Sanderson in London, attended by designers including Jonathan Saunders, Marios Schwab, Louise Gray, Nicholas Kirkwood, Michael van der Ham, Christopher Shannon, Edward Meadham, Ben Kirchhoff - as well as British Fashion Council chairman Harold Tillman, and its ambassador for emerging talent, Sarah Mower.

Lara Stone is jealous of Simon Cowell, so says her husband David Walliams. The Vogue cover girl is getting a little sick of her other half's obsession with the entertainment mogul, it seems.
"Lara's jealous because every time I come back from work - 'Guess what Simon did today?'" Walliams said at yesterday's Britain's Got Talent launch in London. "Sometimes when I get into bed at night I say 'Is it OK if I call you Simon?' The first few times she didn't mind, but then she's wearing the mask."It seems that Cowell doesn't mirror the comedian's affection though.
"My mum and dad had a dachshund dog, as he got a bit older he used to sort of get on my leg occasionally and sort of hump my leg and I'd go: 'Go on Lottie, just go away.' That kind of is our relationship," explained Cowell, adding, "You know the skit he does in Little Britain with the Prime Minister and the gay assistant - that is the relationship."
