LONDON'S finest young designers will head to LA en masse for the second time next week, as part of the British Fashion Council's London Showrooms initiative - which seeks to raise the profiles of British fashion names in international markets.
This season, new names to make the trip abroad are Louise Gray, David Koma, Holly Fulton, JW Anderson and Michael van der Ham - who will join last season's attendees Jonathan Saunders, E Tautz's Patrick Grant, Marios Schwab, Mary Katrantzou, Nicholas Kirkwood, the Peter Pilotto designers, Richard Nicoll, Roksanda Ilincic and Todd Lynn. Each label's autumn/winter 2012-13 collections will be shown to West Coast buyers, stylist and press.
