Mulberry Response

Mulberry Response

MULBERRY has responded to a report in this afternoon's Evening Standard which claims one of its customer was arrested when trying to return a jacket. The British label has revealed that it acted in accordance with advice from the police.
"We were forewarned that a customer was attempting to return a product which had not been sold by Mulberry," a spokesperson for the brand told us today. "We contacted the police and followed the instructions given."
The customer in question, Harriet Wheeler, was escorted by police from the New Bond Street Store last Friday, the Evening Standard reports, and tells the paper that she found the situation "humiliating".
